题目：The peopling of Kra-Dai in South China

摘要

In this talk, I discuss Kra-Dai family tree and subgroups as suggested by vocabulary distribution. A cultural history of Kra-Dai people from the perspective of classified lexicons and subgrouping hierarchy is explored. Scenarios of the peopling of Kra-Dai in South China, their settlement, expansion, and interaction with other ethnic groups (Miao-Yao, Austroasiatic and Chinese) are depicted.

主讲人简介

Weera Ostapirat（许家平）教授是历史语言学领域的国际知名专家，于美国加州大学伯克利分校取得博士学位，曾先后任职于德国马克斯-普朗克研究所、法国国家科研中心口传文化研究所、日本国立人类学博物馆等世界一流研究机构，现任泰国玛希隆大学教授。
