内容简介：

在汉语语音历史研究中，一般认为元代1324年的《中原音韵》是现代官话最早的证据。然而辽金元三代文字的中的汉语音译材料则显示现代北方官话的基本特征早就出现了。辽、金时代的汉语语音特征，如中古全浊声母清化、唇齿音声母出现、入声韵尾消失等等都清楚显示了官话音系的特点。辽金元的汉语音译形成的汉语借词音系显示出了阿尔泰语影响的各种细节。由于辽金元文字中所见的汉语特征提供了早于《中原音韵》的北方官话历史材料，我们可以将北方官话的历史追溯到10到12世纪的辽代。比《中原音韵》早了近三百年。
